Artists, art auctions and music take center stage during One Night

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Oct. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- COLUMBUS, OHIO– Ohio Art League's annual “One Night” fundraiser, will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 from 6-11 p.m. This year, OAL will pay tribute to member artists spanning the organization’s 105-year history. VIP and general admission guests will take part in a night of themed cocktails, music, a VIP art preview hour, costumed photo booth by We Are Glitterati, colorful company, and, of course, the chance to purchase original artwork from Ohio's leading contemporary, professional artists in live and silent auctions.

Built around a unique theme and venue each year, One Night auctions hundreds of works from OAL member artists, offers local, lively entertainment and attracts hundreds of artists and art lovers alike. Ticket and art sales benefit OAL and artists receive a percentage of the profit from each piece sold. New This Year

The Young Collectors Series is a small works submission alternative to the live/silent auctions, specifically designed to make art accessible to patrons of all income levels. All submitted works are 12" x 12" or smaller and priced at $75 or less.  Cuisine will be inspired by the rich history of artistic movements, dating back to OAL’s foundation in 1909 and will mirror movements such as the Impressionism, Cubism, Minimalism, and Realism eras.  This year’s One Night theme is Tribute, in which OAL and its sponsors will pay homage to those members and artists of the past, present and future.
