HFS Consultants Hires Medicare Reimbursement Expert, Leila Quipanes, in Government Programs Practice

OAKLAND, Calif. - Sept. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- HFS Consultants (HFS), a healthcare consulting company providing management, financial consulting, operations and strategic planning services to hospitals and healthcare facilities, announces it has hired Leila Quipanes, as a senior consultant in the firm’s Government Programs practice area. She will be preparing cost reports for Medicare and state programs and assisting with Medicare wage index projects.

Prior to joining HFS, Quipanes was a reimbursement analyst at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California where she prepared Medicare cost reports and worked with outside consultants on all reimbursement issues, including past year appeals and special projects. Her work also brought her in contact with auditors to handle questions regarding submitted reports. Quipanes’s experience also includes work as a financial analyst at Lakeland Regional Health System in St. Joseph, Michigan.

Quipanes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Manila.
