Premier Indian Fashion Showcase

CARY, N.C. - Aug. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- The Matthews House in partnership with Mehar Events is pleased to present The Anaaya Collection, a showcase featuring premier, handmade, Indian Fashion.

The showcase will be located at The Matthews House on September 11th and 12th, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. This is a free event, and items will be available for purchase.

Established in New Delhi, India, in 2009, Anaaya is a collection of attire, purses, and bespoke bridal wear owned by Mani Singh. With a background in design, and a passion for travel, Singh expresses her globally influenced designs in eminently wearable clothes that exude flair. Anaaya designs have graced celebrities, including Miss Earth 2010, Nicole Faria.

Singh travels India extensively, sourcing the richest silks, chiffons and velvets, and turns them into designs that can be worn anywhere. The entire creation of her garments takes place in one location, from the intricate gold and silver embroidery to the detailed finishing touches.

The Matthews House, originally built in 1915, is a 3500 square foot event venue. The venue offers spacious reception areas, full service catering, and an onsite bakery.
