BizLibrary Announces 2014 Excellence in Employee Training Award Finalists

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. - Aug. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- BizLibrary is proud to announce the 15 finalists for its 2014 Excellence in Employee Training Awards this afternoon. This innovative group of companies and individuals uses BizLibrary’s online training content and learning technology solutions to deliver employee training and development programs to their employees. Categories include: Best New Program Launch, Blended Program of the Year, Best Measured Results, Training Professional of the Year, Learning Program of the Year, and Partner of the Year.

“We are very proud of all of the organizations and individuals who submitted applications for this year’s awards. It was very difficult to select the finalist out of so many deserving submissions. These organizations engaged employees in training, improved overall performance, created enthusiasm for training among employees, and most importantly, each of them saw positive business results as a direct result of their employee training efforts.”

The Best New Program Launch award goes to a program in its first year of implementation that best utilizes BizLibrary’s content and technology and focuses on planning, initial utilization and results. The finalists are: Cust-O-Fab, DataXu, and Superior Energy Services.

The finalists for Blended Learning Program of the Year – Crest Industries, DWA Healthcare Communications Group, and Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women – all use more than one solution, use multimedia resources in training, have a program that addresses their organization’s needs, and have high ratings and positive feedback for their employee training efforts.

The award for Best Measured Results goes to a company with defined metrics or ROI that has tied training to business results, uses and solicits feedback, and gathers information about program performance. The finalists are: HSS Inc., Merit Brass Company, and SMS Holdings.

The finalists for Training Professional of the Year – Keith Howes of Western Health Advantage Company, Jennifer Hughes of High Touch Technologies, and Debbie Trzcinski of Ivie & Associates – are all enthusiastic, experienced professionals who are progressive in developmental thinking, engaged in outside training associations, and constantly looking to improve and overachieve.

The Learning Program of the Year finalists – Everence, MyEyeDr., and Teracore – are all companies who have a strong marketing plan, strong buy-in at a senior leadership level, utilization of more than one solution, expected outcomes being achieved, enthusiasm for the program, and a unique vision.

A winner for The Partner of the Year has been chosen, and is a company with a successful program and a strong partnership with BizLibrary.

The winners of the 2014 employee training awards will be announced at the awards luncheon on September 23^rd, during BizLibrary’s annual employee training conference, ALIGN. This conference will run from September 22 - 24 at the Hyatt in St. Louis and brings together learning professionals and practitioners across industries to discuss best practices and trends within employee training, employee development, and learning technology.
