MISSION VIEJO, Calif. - July 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Guided by a sense of responsibility to her clients, Cindi Powalski of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties has continually worked to enhance her real estate knowledge and refine her skills. A former teacher with a background in coaching, Powalski credits the approach for earning her multiple awards for her sales and service.

“I love the feeling that comes from helping people accomplish their goals,” said Powalski, who garnered the Mission Viejo office’s Rookie of the Year award in 2007. Cindi has received many other awards and special acknowledgments over the years including Honor Society awards for achievement, sales production awards from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, and a special community volunteer award from the Orange County Association of Realtors® (OCAR).

Powalski has completed numerous education-based real estate designations, including the Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource designation, Certified Negotiating Expert designation, and Short Sale Specialist designation. She has also completed the federal government’s Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives (HAFA) training program.

A resident of Lake Forest for 32 years, Powalski offers an astute insight into the local marketplace. She added that she especially loves working with first time buyers: “Passing on the knowledge my clients need to make the best decision possible is central to what I do.”

A member of the Orange County Sheriff Department’s Search and Rescue Reserve Unit, Powalski also serves her community through her involvement with the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce. The first Ms. Washington Physique, she went to college on an athletic scholarship and has coached many of her daughters’ sports teams, from ballet and football to basketball and cheerleading.
