Lecture to Offer Beneficial Cancer Information to Veterans

PAHRUMP, Nev. - June 12, 2014 - PRLog -- 21^st Century Oncology of Las Vegas will be sponsoring a complimentary veterans appreciation lecture featuring expert information from Brian D. Lawenda, M.D., a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. This event will provide the community and veterans information about the latest treatments for cancer. Dr. Lawenda will discuss “Exercise and Nutrition, During and After Cancer.”

The lecture will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the UsToo Prostate Cancer Support Group of Pahrump at the Pahrump Nugget located at 681 S. Highway 160, Pahrump, NV 89048. The event is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

“Living a healthy lifestyle is important for everyone, but crucial for those going through a cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment,” says Dr. Lawenda. “By hosting this informative session, we hope to educate patients, families and caregivers in Pahrump about the benefits of taking proactive steps towards healthier living.”
