Modesto Cancer Treatment Center Receives Distinguished Accreditation

MODESTO, Calif. - March 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Peter K. Sien, MD, Inc., a 21^st Century Oncology affiliate, has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in radiation oncology as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The cancer treatment center is now the only ACR accredited facility in Modesto.

The ACR seal of accreditation represents the highest level of quality and patient safety. Experts in the field perform a peer-review evaluation and award the accreditation only to facilities meeting specific practice guidelines and technical standards developed by ACR.

Patient care and treatment, patient safety and quality assurance programs are among the criteria assessed. The findings are reported to the ACR Committee on Radiation Oncology Accreditation.
