NEW YORK - June 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Michael Jacksons legacy lives on !!! Jackson has a lot going on right now with a new 2014 "Xscape" album taking the world by storm. This year alone Jackson was featured in a duet with Justin Timberlake for the song "Love Never Felt So Good", was featured as a hologram at this year's Billboard Music Awards and now his iconic crystal white glove from the Victory Tour and American Music Award for "We Are The World" hit the auction block JUNE 14th thru the auction company The Memorabilia Vault.

The pop icon has a large following and fan base that includes a lot of celebrities such as Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Tracy Morgan, Chris Tucker, Usher and many more.

Michael Jackson memorabilia collecting has also become very popular since Jacksons passing in 2009. There has been a large increase in the people who collect his memorabilia. Collectors are snatching up everything from concert posters and smaller items to his Thriller video worn jacket which sold for $1.8 million dollars. In 2012 Lady Gaga joined the collector frenzy purchasing 55 items from a Michael Jackson auction.

Now his fans and collectors have an opportunity to own several pieces of history from the icons life and career in an auction held by The Memorabilia Vault on JUNE 14th thru their website http://www.thememorabiliavault.com.

One of the highlights of the auction include an American Music Award which was presented to Jackson in honor of appreciation, acknowledging Jackson's role as one of the key composers and many singers of the super-successful anthem, "We Are the World" in 1986.The well-known record featured Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Kenny Rogers, Tina Turner,Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick and more.

In 1995, Jonathan Lambert, a child sick with Leukemia, visited the Neverland Valley Ranch to meet his idol, Jackson. Thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation, Lambert saw the AMA for "We Are The World" and "was in awe as it represented so much meaning to him."

Overwhelmed with emotion, the legendary singer turned to Lambert and said "This Award Belongs To You Now,".

Jackson also wrote a note on Neverland Valley Ranch stationary that read "My Music Award" signed "Love Michael Jackson" to Lambert. The award is accompanied by Jackson's note and a letter from Lambert's mother.

"We are very excited to offer this rare and unique award that was presented to Michael Jackson to all his fans and collectors," read a statement from the Memorabilia Vault. "We know who ever wins the award will love and honor it with respect to one of the greatest entertainers to ever live ..............Michael Jackson."

It will most likely be the first time that an AMA presented to Jackson will be sold at auction. The Award is estimated to sell for $30,000 or more.

A portion of the proceeds from the award sale will go to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation.

The auction also includes a crystal glove used by Michael Jackson on the Victory tour. The glove was used on the western leg of the Victory tour during the height of his popularity. The glove is a very rare couture style glove createdfor Michael Jackson by the legendary late great designer Bill Whitten. The glove is accompanied by a letter from Bill Whittens assistant Keith Holman. A similar glove from the Victory tour sold at auction in 2010 for over $190,000.

The auction also features artwork created by Michael Jackson that he gifted to his close friend the actor Corey Feldman.

In addition the auction includes other collectible items from icons like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Babe Ruth and others.

The auction opened for bidding on May 14, but will enter extended bidding on June 14 at 9PM EST. The auction catalog can be viewed online at: http://www.thememorabiliavault.com
