Gotham is a serial drama written by two-time Emmy-winning Actress/Producer Martha Byrne and Emmy-nominated Actress/Director Lisa Brown. Started successfully on the Web with an Emmy nomination, it is now coming to traditional TV and multiple digital platforms.

Martha Byrne is a nine-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee and two-time Emmy winner. She is best known for her more than two decade run on the CBS Daytime Drama As the World Turns where she portrayed the role of Lily Walsh Snyder and her twin sister Rose D'Angelo. Her award collection also includes numerous magazine awards and three National Viewer's Voice Awards. As a singer, Martha has released two CD’s of music that was featured on As the World Turns over the years.

Martha began her career at the age of ten with a two-year run on the Broadway stage in Annie. Martha's resume also includes over 30 television and film projects. Since leaving As the World Turns in March 2008, Martha has starred on General Hospital, went back to the stage in Other People's Money and worked as a scriptwriter on the soap opera Bold and Beautiful. Most recently she guest-starred on the NBC crime thriller, Crisis. She is also in the new film Preying For Mercy by Bill Duke.

Martha is very proud of her role as Executive Producer for the Award-winning film, Bye Bye Sally, starring Malin Ackerman, and creating the web series Gotham(www.gothamtheseries.com), in which she also stars and is the Executive Producer.  Gotham was nominated for an Emmy in 2010 and won an Indie Soap Award. Gotham can be seen on Vimeo and Youtube. Martha has been a huge supporter of independent productions for the web and has starred in and consulted on several shows.

Currently Martha is partnered with Vine Record Label (Universal) Mario Costabile and owns Full Circle Talent Group, LLC. This talent training and management studio is located in Paramus, NJ. Opened in 2011, it seeks to train serious actors, singers and songwriters. Martha currently manages about a dozen actors who are successfully landing jobs on Broadway and in film, and is always looking for new talent. Visit www.showbizbootcamp.com for more info.

Martha serves on the Professional Advisory Board of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
