As a thriving retail outlet in the multi-billion dollar a year resale industry, Coyle & Herr’s showroom floor is filled with hand-picked upscale furnishings and at any time, shoppers may find pieces by designers ranging from Bertoia to Baker, Rose Tarlow to Knoll and everything in between. In addition, hand-crafted, artisan pieces by local, national and international artists make their way to the shop by way of sophisticated, well-traveled consignors.  The consignment warehouse, itself an adaptive re-use setting, has hundreds of home décor items available, from artwork to lighting, to tables, chairs, sofas and more.

Coyle & Herr carefully handles everything from managing inventory, to photographing each item for online sales, and sharing the continuous stream of possibilities with top interior designers.  Furthermore, they share with shoppers an extensive list of talented craftsmen who have decades of experience in upholstery and refinishing so a piece can be customized to suit its new home.

Those wishing to consign furniture or accessories find easy steps to follow with a 90-day selling contract on the website. Consignors simply need to email images of the items for consideration to coyleandherr@gmail.com. Within 10 business days, an evaluation and suggested sales price is provided. If the consignor agrees, Coyle & Herr sends a contract and then the consignor delivers items to the showroom.  If needed, Coyle & Herr offers connections to trusted shippers.  After 90 days, Coyle & Herr returns or donates unsold items to non-profit organizations whose services include providing housing.

Shoppers are encouraged to visit often, and to take ‘at least three laps’ around the space to browse the showroom’s offerings.
