Worth Taking First To Release For Pono On Record Store Day

SAN FRANCISCO - April 19, 2014 - PRLog -- San Francisco, CA

Rock band Worth Taking is offering their entire music catalog for free on April 19 in honor of Record Store Day. The self-proclaimed "nerds that play rock music" are the first group to release music for the Pono (http://ponomusic.com) digital music ecosystem.

Fans can access WorthTaking.com/pono and download their entire album collection, including their most recent release, Oddly Pacific. Every note of the San Francisco group’s songs, like their latest single "I Like the Movie Version Better", can be heard in a high quality, Pono-optimized format.

The release being slated for Record Store Day is no coincidence. This is, of course, done in Worth Taking's classic tounge-in-cheek fashion. While the band won't be releasing a physical item this season, the band has never completely steered away from the physical format; the band's latest release, Oddly Pacifc, was released on vinyl in February of 2013.
