OrangeTheory - Fresh Ideas To Develop Student Engagement Website For St. Petersburg College

TAMPA, Fla. - April 17, 2014 - PRLog -- This month OrangeTheory – fresh ideas will develop a communication website to boost both student and faculty engagement for St. Petersburg College (SPC) to be launched in May of 2014.

Since 2012, SPC - a state college in Pinellas County, Florida – has entrusted OrangeTheory – fresh ideas as its marketing partner. OrangeTheory – fresh ideas will design and deliver a website – Direct Link - to SPC which will tell SPC’s story and act as a communications hub for students and faculty. It will direct users to explore each of the college’s departments and encourage users to share and review news blogs and videos specific to each department. This site will be responsive on both desktop computers and mobile devices and will include a social mash-up of the college’s social media posts.

“After working with St. Petersburg College for two years we are excited to be given the opportunity to lead the design and development for St. Petersburg College’s newest digital initiative - Direct Link,” said Trimeka Benjamin, President of OrangeTheory – fresh ideas. “Direct Link will open many doors of real-time, two-way communication for current and prospective students of SPC. It will encourage interaction between students and faculty and will aid in retaining and recruiting students.”

St. Petersburg College is part of the Florida College System, and is one of the institutions in the system designated a "state college", as it offers a greater number of four-year bachelor's degrees than traditional two-year community colleges.
