LOS ANGELES - March 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Social Media Club Los Angeles (SMCLA) (http://www.socialmediaclub.la/), a non-profit, volunteer-based professional organization comprised of social media, digital marketing, content development, and public relations (PR) practitioners throughout Southern California, today announced it will host an automotive industry social media seminar and networking event on Tues., March 18, 2014, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. at the world-famous Petersen Automotive Museum (http://www.petersen.org/) in Los Angeles’ historic Mid-Wilshire district.

The affair, entitled “Social Media:  Supercharging the Automotive Industry,” will be highlighted by an informative panel discussion featuring highly-experienced communications executives from a diverse range of automotive sector companies. The panel will consist of Adam Langsbard, chief marketing officer of the Petersen Automotive Museum; Matt Farah, host and editor of The Smoking Tire, a popular car news and reviews site; and Michael Garant, digital marketing manager at Mazda North America. Chris Baccus, executive director of digital at global PR agency Golin Harris International (http://golinharris.com/), will serve as the moderator. Food and beverages will be provided during and after the panel discussion.

SMCLA’s “Social Media:  Supercharging the Automotive Industry” will be held at the Petersen Automotive Museum, located at 6060 Wilshire Boulevard; Los Angeles, California  90036.
