Taste of the Town 2014 - Education is on the Menu!

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas - Jan. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4th, 2014: Come taste the many delectable offerings by our fabulous restauranteurs. The New Braunfels ISD Education Foundation will host its 4th Taste of the Town on Tuesday, February 4, at the New Braunfels Civic Convention Center, 375 S. Castell, from 6:30 - 9:00 pm.

Childcare will be offered by the YMCA at the event, email childcare@ymcasatx.org for details and reservations.

Taste of the Town is an opportunity for local restaurants to showcase their cuisine and for you to experience an evening of fun!  Tastes will be provided from Willie’s Grill & Icehouse, Inferno’s Wood Fired Oven & Spirits, Olive’s Italian Market & Deli, Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Wright Distributing, Rudy’s Country Store and BBQ, The Gruene Flour Cupcakery, Eden Hill Communities, Huisache Grill, New Braunfels Smokehouse, Palmers Restaurant Bar & Courtyard, Tri City Distributors, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Orange Leaf, McAdoo’s Seafood Company, Kubo Ku Caterers, Jamocha Joe's, Happy Dragon, Gruene River Grill, Granzin B-B-Q, Clear Springs Catering, Blue Bell Creameries, Buffalo Wings & Rings, Arby’s and Clear Springs Café, 2 Rivers Coffee and Carino’s Italian Grill.

In addition to sampling bites from the restaurants, entertainment will be provided by The NBHS Jazz Band and music from Tin Roof. Our amazing raffle/auction will include items from: Texas Tubes, Alarm Automation, Casteel & Casteel, Texas Ski Ranch, Spring Loaded, J&R Gymnastics, Schlitterbahn, West Haven Academy of Karate, TBarM Camps, Centerpoint Station, Dancing Pony, The Landmark Salon and Landmark Lofts, William Edge Salon, Myron's Steakhouse, Ernesto's, Hill Publications/Taste of NB,  Cottages on the Comal, and many more!

The New Braunfels ISD Education foundation provides resources to inspire learning, enrich teaching,and enhance opportunities for the teachers and students of NBISD. Proceeds from this event will remain in the NBISD community and be used to benefit our teachers and students. Last year we awarded over $51,000 to teacher grants and programs in the New Braunfels ISD.
