The App Cauldron, Inc. announces its innovative running app Track Runner was awarded first prize in the Maps & Places Master Mission of global app developing competition Nokia Create.
App developers from 76 countries around the world participated in Nokia Create. The Master Mission category Maps & Places called for the creation of location-based apps or apps that entice the user to explore the world and discover new places. Nokia’s panel of judges rewarded uniqueness, quality, and functionality of apps, as well as the likelihood of consumer appeal.

The app will be showcased as part of the Nokia App Developer Conference at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain this February. The prize valued at EUR 10,500 also includes a top of the range Nokia smartphone, and promotions on both the Windows Phone Store and Nokia’s App Social.
