Chapter. “With original pieces created by a number of artists with Parkinson’s from all over the U.S., we felt we had an ideal mix ”, she added. However, on the weekend of Nov 22, 2013, local art collector and member of the show’s organizing committee Pragati Kapoor, got the news that Michael Stevens, an attorney and artist with Parkinson’s, was willing to make a collection of antique cameras available for auction at the show. “When Michael told me we could sell the cameras I quickly notified the other members. I felt strongly his collection would add something very special to an already excellent group of artists, Kapoor noted. The committee members were interested, but felt they should see Stevens work before making the final decision. “Pragati’ “We went to see Michael’s work on Sunday, and to say we were impressed is an understatement. Frankly, we were blown way. I believe Michael’s contribution takes the show to entirely new level”, noted Yaras. Michael Steven’s cameras, shown in the photos, will be on display, along with the works of other find artists with Parkinson’s Disease at Bergamot Station, in Santa Monica, CA.,on Dec 8, from 11am – 2 pm.
