Photo-ER is able to salvage priceless family Photos from Hurricane Sandy damage

MONTGOMERY, Ill. - Nov. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Montgomery, IL----Photo-ER is able to salvage priceless family Photos from Hurricane Sandy damage.  Photo-ER upon completion  of the restoration of Mold and  Water danged photographs from Supper Storm “Sandy” is  now capable to provide their services to victims of many forms of Disaster damage, Ken Mindar owner said.  Photo-ER Has restored the  , photos, of Fire, flood, tornadoes and now  hurricane victims, said Mindar.  There is not to much that we haven't been exposed too.  The Photos from Sandy were in frames stuck to the glass and in some cases they has begun molding from prolonged exposure to Sea water.  Some even had beach sand imbedded in them when they arrived, many weeks after the disaster.

“We cannot stress enough the necessity of care and quick  action when it comes to salvaging these precious family treasures and their full restoration.  Mold is one of the biggest Problems that hamper their successful  restoration.  Once we receive damaged photos from a customer we isolate them in freezers to prevent the further spread of damaging mold spoors.  We them to intense ultraviolet light tube to destroy any remaining growing mold.  The photos are carefully handled an a triage of damage evaluated, including the restoration procedure required and a estimate is prepared.  Once that is approved the many procedures of restoration begins.  Each photograph is a unique experience in itself and have their own unique properties to deal with” Mindar said as he prepared another restored group of photos to return to their New Jersey owners.

The current rash of tornados and floods that effected the Midwest United States is no different in our restoration approach from hurricane “Sandy”.  In tornados the photographs may have suffered major surface damage from the powerful winds and water combined.  Loose pieces attached to the photos should be included with the photo to be replaced in the restoration.  This is particularly important if missing pieces involve partial facial images.   Mindar said, ”a Photograph First Aid PDF file is offered on our web site http://www.Photo-er.com to download, print and aid with preserving wet and danged photographs to insure the restoration process is completely successful.”
