LineSiders Outfitters Offers Hunting, Fishing, Camping & Firearms Consignment

LAND O' LAKES, Fla. - Oct. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- (www.LineSidersOutfitters.com) My name is Gary and I am opening a brand new business on June 1st in Land O Lakes called LineSiders Outfitters. It is a fishing, hunting and camping consignment store that is located off US 41 just past the ABC Pizza in the All Tune & Lube plaza. I came up with the idea after my wife forced me to go to a children’s consignment store to drop off some items our kids had outgrown. I think she purchased more that she dropped off but that’s a subject I’ve learned not to bring up again. I waited in the car patiently for over 45 minutes but could not help but notice the volume of people in and out. Looking around the parking lot, I also noticed the number of “dad’s” like me waiting outside in the car. There were a few poor souls that ventured inside but I considered myself lucky… I had AC and no kids in the car. Victory was mine.

When we came home that afternoon, I decided to clean out my garage. As an avid fisherman, I realized I really needed to weed through my collection of fishing gear. Since I have zero patience for selling stuff online my next thought was to box it up for our community garage sale. Then it hit me, a consignment store for men. A consignment store where fish stories were told, hunting pictures were shared, honey holes had names and salty dogs are always welcomed.

That afternoon, I knew one day I would have a business of my own – and here I am, nearly seven years later making the jump from working for someone else to becoming my own boss.

I’ve been asked what “Linesiders” means and in short, a “Linesider” is also another name for one of my favorite fish, a Snook. Outfitters just seemed to fit naturally since the stores focus is also on hunting and camping. My wife is a prime example of why I wanted to start LineSiders. We purchase a complete camping setup. The tent, the cots, the fans, the sleeping bags, the special cooking utensils. A mere 20-hours into our camping trip, she’s ready to go home or find a local “hotel” with “running water”. I’m not too sure what she expected but I do know LineSiders has a fantastic deal on a complete camping set up, used only once, running water/AC/bathroom/shower not included.
