About the Author: Walter C. Perry was raised in Milwaukee and attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison from 1973 to 1975 before dropping out to join the Army. After traveling the world and retiring from the military in 1998, he held several government jobs while earning a BS in management studies and an M.Ed. degree from the Universities of Maryland and Oklahoma, respectfully. He has been a teacher and currently lives with his wife in Milwaukee, where he is a buyer for GE.
