LAFAYETTE, La. - Sept. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Supernatural and Challenging Games for Halloween Party

As the Halloween season rapidly approaches, many people begin thinking about and planning their annual Halloween party. And, with your organizing and planning, you'll want to choose the fun and exciting games to be played during your party. Although, Halloween is known for its trick r treatin for the kids, it definitely doesn't stop there. A well-planned and organized party can certainly be the highlight of the holidays, especially when you have loads of entertaining, fun, and exciting Halloween games. Many party hosts even include a slight hint of some of the type games in their spooky holiday invitation wording at http://www.invitationsbyu.com/wording-halloween-invitations.htm for their ghostly Halloween party invitation cards. With this advanced 'warning', the anticipation and excitement can begin weeks before your actual party. Here's a continuation of some of the more popular games that both kids and adults will enjoy.

Knocking Them Off One at a Time

Assemble all the players in a circle and ask them to close their eyes as you explain that you will tap the one who is 'it' on the shoulder. After tapping one of the players on the shoulder, have everyone opens their eyes. The player selected to be 'it' will need to wink at different players in the circle without anyone, other than the selected player seeing the wink. Tell all the players that the child being winked at needs to show that he has been knocked off, or killed. In reality, you'll quickly discover the next great academy award winner during this game. A really great way to get this game off to a good start is to choose your own child to be the first killer and to tell him ahead of time to kill off first the player who he thinks will make the biggest show of it. Of course, the object of the game is for the 'live' kids to guess who the 'killer' is. Whoever guesses right, or is the last person not dead becomes the next 'killer'.

Poke Em in the Eye

Start by asking all the players to leave the room except the host and three people. These remaining three players seat themselves in chairs lined up in a row. The party host then goes to where the other players are gathered and blindfolds the first player, and guides that player into the room. The host explains to the person being brought into the room that he is to try and recognize, by touch, each of the three players seated before him. The host holds the index finger of the blindfolded player and guides him over the face of the first seated person. As his finger is guided over the nose he is told, 'this is the nose'. 'These are the lips' as his fingers are guided over the lips, and 'this is the left eye' as his fingers are guided over the left eyelid, followed by the right eye. After this process is completed, the party host asks the blindfolded player if he can recognize the person seated on the chair.

The blind folder player is then led to the second seated person and repeats the entire procedure. And, then again with the third seated person, but this time, just as the host is holding the index finger of the blindfolded player and is just about to stroke the right eyelid, the host plunges the finger into a bowl of Jell-O. The blindfolded player thinks he has just plunged his finger into the seated persons right eye and SCREAMS! The other players outside of the room all wonder what has just happened! This entire process is repeated with each player being blindfolded until you eventually have the room full of prior victims anticipating the 'jelly moment'. This is one of the more popular games and in a memorable party moment full of screams, laughter, and belly aches!

Exciting Balloon Battle to be Remembered

You'll need to divide the group into two teams, and start by tying balloons to everyone's ankles. Shout the word 'go' and watch the teams trying to burst the other team's balloons first. As a player's balloon is burst he is out of the game. The winning team is the team with the last balloons to be burst. Halloween Pumpkin Ghosts Bowling

You'll need to plan ahead for this game by asking parents and friends to save empty two liter soda bottles for this game. After washing and drying, you should spray paint the soda bottles white and draw mouths and eyes on them. You can add a cup or more of sand or small rocks to each bottle so they will stand upright without falling over. Divide your players into several teams, ranging from three to eight kids each, depending on your party size. Each player then lines up and takes his turn at bowling over the Ghosts. This game is even more exciting if you use small pumpkins as the bowling balls. The child who got a strike gets another attempt to bowl a strike. For those who did not get another attempt, they still receive a prize, but the winner gets the grand price.
