Art Of War Central's Review Of Venture Beat Report On "Gaming Battle Lines" Is Posted In CNN Article

Although no bloodshed is involved, Venture Beat writer reported the status of the heat between "casual" and "hardcore" gamers. And Art Of War Central's review gets to the real story with their review on CNN.

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - Aug. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- The story of the civil war, so to speak, between casual gamers and hardcore gamers has been brewing for several years. In the the article on CNN http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-1019752 industry leading gaming firm, Art of War Central reviews the ins and out of the debate between the casuals and the hardcores.

According to Venture Beat writer, William Clark, "In the years following Nintendo’s release of its incredibly popular Wii, a common cry from self-professed “hardcore gamers” was that the console’s casual audience was “ruining gaming.” Lines were drawn between these two camps, with hardcore gamers claiming to play “real” games on “real” consoles like the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3."

Art of War Central, the gaming and virtual server hosting provider, looks at this with an experienced level of concern. A spokesperson states, "With the amount of money this industry generates, competition about platforms and devices, while understandable, does not work to the favor of either side. After all, gaming is designed to be both fun and educational, and is also a proven character builder."

Clark continued by saying, "Games will continue to be produced for a variety of audiences, and pretty much everyone will be able to find one to love. Sure, the landscape of the medium will change, but that change has always been and will always be occurring – it’s not necessarily good or bad. Most people, I think, know this somewhere in the back of their mind. We know gaming will continue on. So what do we have to gain by drawing lines in the sand and putting people into different categories of “gamers?"

Bottomline, gamers enjoy what they enjoy, and casual or hardcore, they all have a lot more in common than any differences they may share. And the gaming industry is committed to ensuring that both groups have the exact level of play they enjoy.
