Massachusetts Personal Injury Law Firm Kiley Law Group Obtains Settlements in Three Cases

A Case of Slip and Fall

In one recent case, the Kiley Law Group obtained a $145,000 settlement for a slip and fall injury victim. The client was leaving his apartment building when he slipped and fell on the front steps, which were covered in pieces of concrete and debris.  He sustained a traumatic disc rupture that caused considerable back and leg pain as a result of the fall.  He ultimately underwent a microdiscectomy to resolve his ongoing pain.

A Rear-end Collision

In another recent case, the firm obtained a $215,000 settlement on behalf of a client who suffered injury in a rear-end traffic accident. The client was slowing in highway traffic when she was rear-ended by the defendant, who failed to stop.  She sustained a disc herniation as a result of the impact and required a cervical discectomy and fusion to alleviate her continued pain.  

A Head-on Motorcycle Accident

Finally, the legal team at Kiley Law Group obtained a $160,000 settlement on behalf of a client who suffered life-changing injuries as the result of a motorcycle accident. The client was traveling on his motorcycle when he was struck head-on by the defendant, who was attempting to turn left in front of our client.  Upon impact, the client was thrown from his motorcycle onto the defendant’s vehicle, where he rolled over the hood and roof of the vehicle.  This traumatic accident caused the client to sustain a fractured right femur, requiring surgical intervention with hardware and extensive rehabilitative care and treatment.
