Ariana Savalas may be a newcomer to the music scene but her sound echoes music of another era as she evokes the sheer glamour and talent of movie star idols like Rita Hayworth and Veronica Lake. But when she sings, her voice and sound harkens back to the days of Etta James and Dinah Washington. The youngest daughter of legendary Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winner Telly Savalas, Ariana is a seductive chanteuse who captivates her listeners as she sings classics of the Great American Songbook. She has captivated audiences across the country in appearances in some of the nation’s poshest clubs like Herb Alpert’s Vibrato in Beverly Hills, Feinstein’s and Birdland in New York. In addition to her musical talents, she is a gifted actress who most recently guest starred on the hit television series Criminal Minds.

Every Friday and Saturday night from Memorial Day weekend through the Labor Day weekend, The Colony’s plush Royal Room will offer cocktails, dinner and dancing from 7 to 8:30 p.m., followed by a performance from a major cabaret star. In addition to the venue’s memorable three-course prix fixe dinner, this summer the hotel will also offer lighter fare and a variety of potent potables.




And this summer, the Royal Room will reach an all new level of classy entertainment by adding a sensational band for cheek-to-cheek dancing and a hot new décor reminiscent of the golden age of sophisticated nightclubs like El Morocco and The Persian Room.
