ABATE of Wisconsin to hold Motorcycle Awareness Rally on May 4th

Milwaukee area motorcyclists take to the streets to create awareness on the road

MILWAUKEE - May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- As the cold weather gives way to warm sunny days, motorcyclists will once again take to the road. To jump start “Motorcycle Awareness Month”, ABATE of Wisconsin members and supporters will line the sidewalks with motorcycle awareness signs during their sixth annual “Motorcycle Awareness Rally” on May 4th.

Often the driver of a vehicle striking a motorcycle, bicycle or pedestrian states that they never saw them. ABATE of Wisconsin wants to remind the public that motorcyclists are back on the roads again, and to please watch for them as well as sharing the road with all vehicles. Their goal is to create awareness in order to prevent crashes between motorcycles and other vehicles to save lives.

Staging will take place at US Bank – 2303 N. Farwell Ave, Milwaukee in the parking lot on the corner of Farwell & North Ave. All motorcyclists are encouraged to join them from 12:30pm – 2:30pm.

ABATE of Wisconsin, is a motorcycle rights organization known for its numerous safety and education programs. ABATE of Wisconsin’s goal is to give the motorcyclists of Wisconsin a strong, united voice with regard to their future, their way of life, their safety and their legal rights as motorcyclists and citizens.
