What would you do if someone appeared from behind the bushes as you get out of your car alone after dark? What if you were out jogging alone and someone started chasing you? Do you know the best way to stop an attacker?
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 11, 2013 - JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Safety First has partnered with Paradigm Tactical Training Group to bring a Women's Safety & Self-Defense course, which is designed for the average everyday woman. The tactics are easy to learn, easy to remember and easy to employ in the stress of a violent encounter or the subtle aggression of a “date rape” scenario. The basics of this system include situational awareness, preventive measures, risk reduction, legal issues, alternative weapons, empty hand fighting techniques and avoidance information. Being more aware and confident significantly reduces your chances of ever becoming selected as a target of aggression. The instructors from PTTG have a combined 22+ years experience in law enforcement and are SWAT team members for their respective agencies.
This course is being offered THIS SATURDAY, March 16, 8:30am-12:30pm at 6045 Greenland Rd, 32258. Cost is $40 and registration is required at www.womensafety.eventbright.com.
