March 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Based in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, G.I.A., Inc. is fortunate in its ability to participate in diverse community programs as an entity designed to support youth enrichment activities.  GIA has already partnered with other organizations to bring innovative programs to the community including the monthly business networking sessions and special events including Youth Day and Family Wellness Day all scheduled for 2013.    The youth enrichment programs will provide access, training and information for the community in the areas of audio and video production and other careers.  Some of the activities will entail teaching youth about the audio and video industry; provide training on equipment; and engage youth in actual production development as a means to foster interest and learning.  Activities will be structured to involve reading, writing and mathematics, thus integrating learning into daily training activities.
What will become our signature educational program is the Boys Camp and Afterschool Programs which are designed to address the learning needs of children during out of school time (after school programs and weekend enrichment camp programs).  The educational programs will focus on enrichment activities (reading, mathematics, and science tutoring), mentoring, recreation (sports and outdoor activities), life skills, entrepreneurship, cultural excursions (i.e. plays, concerts, museums and travel abroad) and media production activities (audio, photography, writing, and video productions).

The goal is to have the mentoring programs funded by grants and donations, thus the program will be free or at a nominal cost to the participants.   Any fee collected will be utilized to cover the cost of program operations, field trips, supplies, and food.  This activity lends to our mission which is “to engage in educational and inspirational programs”, specifically to benefit and motivate youth and young adults, underprivileged and at-risk youth and their families.

We plan on extending the camp program into an international exchange and outreach program that would provide lifelong memories for children and provide charitable giving to homeless and hungry people in various parts of the world.
