Fort Worth, TX – February 15, 2013 – Just Between Friends (JBF) of Fort Worth, Texas’ largest children’s and maternity consignment sales event is hosting their twentieth semi-annual sale, March 1st – March 9th.  A staple to Metroplex families as well as a Top Ten Rated Sale in America by consignmentmommies.com, Just Between Friends Fort Worth is announcing a new partnership with Fort Worth Pregnancy Center.  This partnership will provide expectant parents with needed items they may not have access to otherwise.

Held at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, the semi-annual sale features
thousands of items that include name-brand and boutique children’s Spring and Summer
attire, swimsuits, sporting equipment, baby equipment, electronics, and toys.  In addition
to benefiting Fort Worth Pregnancy Center, a portion of the sale’s proceeds as well as
unsold merchandise is donated to local charities, Community Enrichment Center’s
Open Arms, Program, Teen Lifeline, and Fort Worth Metro.

For the “Wall of Wishes Project,” sale shoppers will be able to select cards off a wall that lists items that expectant parents have requested to help their babies get off to a safe and healthy start.  Shoppers are able to fill bags provided by JBF at the sale to be turned in when they are finished shopping.   Shoppers are able to write words of encouragement to the parents to be included with the gifts they have purchased for them.

“Fort Worth families look forward to our semi-annual sales every season said,” Pam Willingham, Co-Owner, Just Between Friends of Fort Worth.  “This year the ‘Wall of Wishes Project’ in celebration of our twentieth sales event is something we can’t help being excited about.  Not only will our shoppers be able to find great deals to help their own families, they will now be able to take an additional step to help others,” Willingham stated.

“Our sale continues to be the largest in Texas,” said Willingham.  “Additionally, we were  recently voted in the Top Ten Best Consignment Sales in America by ConsignmentMommies.com.  They are the leading national consignment sale and store directory and social networking site on the web.  We are proud of this designation because we know it means we are doing our best to serve Metroplex area families."

“It’s been fascinating to watch our sales evolve since 2003," said Joanie Morrison, Co-Owner, Just Between Friends of Fort Worth.   "Now that we are at 2013, shopping consignment has become the smart thing to do whether your goal is to save money, protect the environment, or you just like finding good deals!” Morrison said.

http://fortworth.jbfsale.com - About Just Between Friends
In 1997, Just Between Friends was created in a living room in Tulsa, Oklahoma when Shannon Wilburn, a mother of two young children, and Daven Tackett hosted a sale, while inviting 17 friends to be consigners. Promoted only in their neighborhood, the gross sales reached approximately $2,000. That’s when the idea caught on. Each season, a new, larger event was held. In 2003, Wilburn and Tackett formed Just Between Friends Franchise Systems, Inc., and began developing and selling franchises. Currently Wilburn, now sole owner and CEO of Just Between Friends Franchise Systems, Inc., has 124 franchises in 24 states.  JBF has received national attention on numerous television shows including ABC News, The Early Show, Good Morning America, CNN, Headline News, The Huffington Post, Inside Edition and CNBC’s The Big Idea. They have also been featured on broadcast outlets in dozens of cities across the country as well as popular websites www.dailyworth.com, www.sheknows.com and Disney website www.family.com.
