PRLog - Feb. 11, 2013 - COVENTRY, U.K. -- Transform Outsource tuned in last night as the best films from the past year and their stars were celebrated and honored at the 2013 BAFTA awards. The ceremony, which was held at London’s Royal Opera House and presented by Stephen Fry saw stars from both Britain and across the pond recognized for their Talent.

Transform Outsource, who recently began working with a popular film/television and entertainment client watched as some of the years biggest blockbusters including Les Miserables, Django Unchained, Life of Pi, Argo and Lincoln picked up various awards at the ceremony. Ben Affleck’s Argo came away with three awards, beating ‘favourite’ Lincoln to best film as well as taking away best director and the award for best editing.

Actress Anne Hathaway was awarded best supporting actress for her role as Fantine in the screen adaptation of Les Miserables. The film also took away awards for Make-up and hair, production design and sound, the latter perhaps coming as a surprise to some, who were critical of the raw and live recordings of the vocals.

Transform Outsource favourite Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained took away the awards for ‘Best Original screenplay’ and ‘Supporting actor’ while Life of Pi, Anna Karenina, Silver Linings Playbook, Skyfall and Amour also took away awards. Although Argo pipped Lincoln to the post of ‘Best Film’, star Daniel Day Lewis was awarded the accolade for ‘Best leading actor’.

The CEO of Transform Outsource enjoyed the BAFTA awards, saying ‘As huge fans and supporters of the film and entertainment industry it is great to see the people behind some of the most amazing and best films being recognized for their fantastic work’.
