Feb. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The latest edition of DJ Grandpa’s Crib, a podcast about real people and honest dreams, is available for immediate download in the iTunes store and at DJ Grandpa’s homepage, djgrandpa.com.

Each week, DJ Grandpa selects five unique projects from the Kickstarter community and showcases them on his podcast.  With a laid back, conversational style, and with sound bites and music incorporated into each segment, DJ Grandpa introduces his listeners to the people behind the projects.  You’ll be inspired by these entrepreneurs of the future who are leaving their creative footprints on the world.

In this week’s episode, The Mapmaker to the King Edition, join DJ Grandpa as he interviews Jamie Reed,  graphic designer and mapmaker to the king; Adam Nash, a computer game developer of Artisen Games, Inc.; Carl Anderson, a country music singer and songwriter; Thomas Wilder, brew master and co-founder of The Young Veterans Brewing Company; Matthew Pickett, a filmmaker from The Rochester Institute of Technology; and Hez, a founder of The undead4EVR LLC, a toy company that produces The Zombie Rock.  Video game violence, the burgeoning craft beer market, and the surprising impact of chronic childhood illness share the stage in this informative, entertaining 30-minute podcast.

DJ Grandpa, host of DJ Grandpa’s Crib shares his excitement at the launch of his podcast:  “After 35 years behind the scenes producing other people I’m finally hosting my own program and I’m having fun with it. I can’t believe I get to laugh and joke with such creative people on a daily basis.  Dude, these people are amazing.”

Bob Boilen of NPR’s All Songs Considered said this about the first episode of DJ Grandpa’s Crib: “Just listened to the whole podcast. Great work.  Good guests good ideas good conversation. Go grandpa!”
