Dec. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Today, DJ Grandpa’s Crib, the unofficial podcast of Kickstarter, is looking for backers for its Season 2 Kickstarter campaign: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1750070982/announcing-dj-grandpas-crib-season-2  Over the past year, the podcast has interviewed 350 guests and helped to raise nearly a million dollars for Kickstarter projects. Forty-six episodes are available for immediate streaming on-line. In Season 2, DJ Grandpa's Crib will surpass Season 1 by offering more free services to project creators.

Each week for the past year, DJ Grandpa has selected unique projects from the Kickstarter community and showcased them on his podcast.  With a laid back style and sound bites incorporated into each segment, DJ Grandpa introduces his listeners to the people behind the projects.  You’ll be inspired by these entrepreneurs of the future who are leaving their creative footprint on the world.  Down to earth and funny, DJ Grandpa offers a relaxed environment where project creators feel comfortable revealing more about themselves and the project they created.

Season 2 will offer the same great setup as Season 1 with an eclectic mix of seven project creators per episode, fun interviews, and project support. With funding, the show will offer free expanded services including list generation, increased online content, and additional social platforms.  Through its Kickstarter campaign, the podcast is offering exciting rewards including advertising space on the show, Kickstarter tips, and your very own podcast.

DJ Grandpa shares his excitement about Season 2:  “I still love doing DJ Grandpa's Crib. It's a whole lot of fun.  I love crowdfunding,  I love talking to people, and I want to keep doing this for another season."

The Kickstarter community is talking about DJ Grandpa's Crib:

'Dj grandpa has been a kind and effective champion of our team's first Kickstarter campaign, Last Dream. As an independent video game studio, we entered our campaign with relatively little promotional experience. dj grandpa not only masterfully edited our podcast interview, he also offered key advice that substantially boosted our campaign. We feel enormously grateful for his support and admire his skilled professionalism."

"Living in a fast-paced and multi-tasking online environment, it is very hard to be heard, let alone noticed in this very noisy world of ours. Then at certain intervals in time there are those who rise above the din and noise makers, who shine the light and provide the necessary channels to those who are finding their voice in terms of "artistic expression." One such person is DJ Grandpa, a singular individual, providing the platform for these individuals to be heard and noticed, whatever their project happens to be - a film, a video, a game, a musical composition, etc.Myself, like those who preceded me and those yet to follow, are deeply grateful to DJ Grandpa, a person, who, through his compassion, vision, and insight is providing the means through his weekly podcasts, providing opportunities for the next generation of entertainment professionals to stand up and share their voice To "Pay It Forward" and support those in their endeavor of creative self-expression. I am profoundly indebted to him for doing this."
