PRLog - Dec. 21, 2012 - WHEATON, Ill. -- DuPage Dodge Chrysler Jeep has a reputation for giving Chicago area drivers access to the most recent vehicles from some of the world's most well-known manufacturers, and while many are aware of the Charger's existence as a classic revival muscle car, DuPage Dodge is proud to announce that its all-wheel drive version will now be available with a special Sport package for 2013 models.
2013 Dodge Charger
The Sport package will be available on SXT, SXT Plus, R/T, and R/T Plus trims and includes features such as unique 19-inch wheels, a gloss black grille, a body-colored rear spoiler, and even more inside. Once drivers get behind the wheel, they'll notice the addition of paddle shifters and sport seating (with cloth or leather upholstery, depending on the trim level). The eight-speed transmission will also be redesigned with a sport setting tuned for a more aggressive driving profile.
The 2013 Charger engine has been redesigned and optimized to produce up to 300 hp thanks to a new cold air intake and exhaust system. This has the added benefit of raising the fuel economy up to an EPA-estimated 27 highway mpg.
Drivers in the Chicago area are familiar with just how frustrating driving a vehicle without all-wheel drive is during the winter, but many of the options available before the 2013 AWD Charger were directed at making drivers choose between winter driving or style. With this new option, muscle car enthusiasts can have the best of both worlds.
Current estimates put the Charger Sport package in dealerships in the first half of 2013, which will give drivers time to break their new car in before having to test its performance on the snowy streets. For more information on the AWD Charger Sport, drivers can contact DuPage Dodge. The experts at their Glendale Heights dealership can be reached in person at 433 East North Avenue or by phone at 630-653-4060. Beyond the latest vehicles from Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram, they also carry a wide range of pre-owned options and handle service and maintenance requests on site.
