CIBA is in the process of converting the former Bowling Green bowling alley into a facility that will be used to train elite youth baseball players. The facility will be the first of its kind in Wisconsin with the goal of developing players to achieve careers in professional baseball. Luis Abrue, a former Minor League Baseball player with the Twin and Marlins organization (1992 – 1995), and Chris McKnight, a current Associate Scout with the Philadelphia Phillies, will oversee the facility’s operations. The indoor facility will contain a turf field, five batting cages, training room and sit-down restaurant. The outdoor space includes a baseball diamond that will provide CIBA with on-site instruction for their traveling baseball teams and ability to host tournaments.
Cresa Madison was engaged by CIBA to find a location that could serve as the company’s headquarters and accommodate CIBA’s indoor and outdoor baseball diamonds. "CIBA Sport Center would like to extend its sincere gratitude to Cresa,” stated Abreu, “Cresa was the driving force in making the CIBA Sport Center possible. Without Cresa’s assistance, it is unlikely we would have found such a fantastic location at such favorable terms.”
