The Talk of the town and the talk of the Las Vegas hair competition scene will be about Clark Russell the salon from the San Francisco Bay Area! Vegas Beauty Unbound, producer of Battle of the Strands is proud to announce that the salon will be competing in the nationwide competition in Las Vegas this October.
The team from Clark Russell the salon will consist of Celebrity Stylist Clark Russell, the owner of Clark Russell the salon and be Clarked luxury hair care team, a well as Jeffrey Lotspeich a famed Bay Area hair stylist and Lady gaga impersonator who goes by Bobbi Pinn, a make-up artist and female illusionist Anjie Myma and hairstylist and clothing stylist Brenda Agcaoili.  The creative artistic team is looking forward to bringing their talents to the competition, representing the San Francisco Bay Area!
Battle of the Strands, hosted by master colorist, Kim Vō, is the most epic salon competition in history. Selected from a pool of entries from across the country, 22 salons have made it to the top to battle it out in the first round of eliminations online, to select only 10 teams who will be flown to Las Vegas, all-expenses paid. Clark Russell the salon was nominated to continue on with the Battle of the Strands as one of the top ten contestants.
These 10 teams of semi-finalists will compete in head-to-head challenges that will test their creativity, resourcefulness & teamwork in the areas of hair, makeup, and the creation of beauty. The five surviving salons will then compete in the final battle at The Joint, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, for the title of Xtreme Salon.
About Vegas Beauty Unbound
From October 20-22, 2012, Vegas Beauty Unbound will descend on Las Vegas to create a conscious awareness of the transforming Beauty Industry. Beauty professionals and industry icons will participate in strategic education and networking sessions, experience new tools, and witness and participate in explosive battles that challenge them in new ways.
In addition to the Battle of the Strands, Vegas Beauty Unbound will feature the Mane, Style, and Face Forum, which will present educational classes for beauty professionals to introduce exciting new tools, colors, and opportunities to market their skills in the ever-changing social media marketing realm. The event will culminate in a spectacular runway fashion show styled by Celebrity Master Colorist Kim Vō. The latest products will be unveiled in the New Generation of Beauty Trade Exhibit. The Forum will also feature the Art & Beauty Unbound Student Competition as well as the Beauti Gras Halloween Celebration, a Mardi Gras done Vegas style, held at Body English, on October 21st.
