Conexant Selects Tata Elxsi as Preferred Service Provider for its Digital Audio Processor

Aug. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Conexant Systems Inc. today announced that Tata Elxsi, a leading embedded systems design house, is now a preferred third party digital audio processor service provider.  As part of the partnership, Tata Elxsi will focus on providing a suite of services and support for customers adopting Conexant’s high-performance digital audio processor, the CX20805, for a range of speech-enabled and audio intensive embedded applications.
As a preferred service provider, Tata Elxsi can assist Conexant customers through the product development life cycle from prototyping to production by offering assistance with circuit design and board layout, custom firmware, advanced audio algorithm development, implementation and customization, software development and support, and applications support and product testing.  Additionally, Conexant customers can turn to Tata Elxsi for expertise in control code and porting new algorithms on open digital signal processor (DSP) platforms.

The CX20805 is a dual-core 32-bit, high-performance, low-power digital audio processor targeted to applications with the most demanding audio requirements, including automotive, consumer and industrial.  Based on the Conexant Audio Processing Engine (CAPE) architecture with scalable performance of up to 800 MIPS, the CX20805 integrates high-speed USB 2.0 and other key audio interfaces with advanced power management functionality.
