Head of School Announces New Senior Strategy Team

Notre Dame de Sion School's Head of School, Mrs. Christina Broderick, announced new roles for members of the Sion community yesterday.  This core group of leaders will serve as the Senior Strategy Team with the Head of School.  They officially began their positions as of August 1st, for the 2012-13 school year.  

Eileen Crowe Johnson ’79 will serve as the Associate Head of School for Finance and
Operations.  Passionate about Sion, Eileen has her MBA, has worked several years as a
CPA, and is in the process of completing her Masters in Educational Administration.  She
has dedicated much of her life to Sion as a former member of the Board of Trustees,
parent and loyal staff member. Eileen has a vision and investment in Sion that is
engaging and progressive.

Celeste Migliazzo Greenlee ‘78 will serve as the Associate Head of School for
Advancement and Enrollment.  Celeste has an extensive background in non-profit
management and marketing as well as advancement. She has completed the Certified
Fundraising Executive (CFRE) program and is in the process of completing her Masters
of Art in Management with a Fundraising emphasis. She is committed to making the Sion
community the best it can be as we progress into the 21st century.  The Admissions
Directors at both campuses as well as our Public Relations and Advancement staff will
now be working as one department to continue bringing fabulous families, alums and
giving to Sion.  

Kay Walkup, another passionate member of the Sion community for over 30 years, will
serve as the Associate Head of School for Curriculum and Mission Formation.  Kay
will continue her work as Academic Dean for the High School and will also chair the
newly formed Mission Formation Committee. Kay will continue as the Sisters of Sion
representative to the Board of Trustees and will begin working directly with the Grade
School leadership team to develop Mission formation activities and programming for the
Grade School.

In our Advancement and Enrollment department, Emily Taylor will be overseeing all
Sion communications, public relations, marketing and branding as well as continuing to
work with our Admissions staff in strategic enrollment planning and directing our
Student Ambassador program.  Lauren Gyllenborg Golden '04, our Alumni Relations
Coordinator, will take on additional responsibilities managing our external marketing and
social media relations. Kathy Dolan McShane GS ’65 and ’69 will be serving as our
Director of Admissions at the Grade School.  In our technology department, Lisa Douthit,
Grade School faculty member, will be serving both campuses as our Director of
Instructional Technology.
