Each 1 Stitch 1 kicks off 2012 breast cancer charity efforts

July 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Fabric and Design Studio, Each 1 Stitch 1 will host “Ribbons & Riesling” on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 5PM – 9PM.  The public is invited to attend this free event and to participate in attaching pink ribbons to a gown by local designer, Raul Siro Ferreira, of Siro’s Fashion in Design.  The gown will be photographed for a promotional image in connection with fundraiser event “The Password is Hope” that will take place on August 25 at One Restaurant & Lounge.

Traci will participate in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in New York City this fall.  Her team will walk 39 miles over two days.  Proceeds from her fundraising efforts will support this.  Webster, NY based Sustain, Inspire, Survive will also be a beneficiary of the proceeds from The Password is Hope.  Raul says, “my wife, Traci, does one of the big breast cancer walks every year and likes to have a fundraiser event to help her raise money.  Every year, it gets bigger and bigger.  I’m happy to support her vision and I definitely share her passion for this important cause”.  

Each 1 Stitch 1 is located at 1115 E. Main Street, door #8, inside the Hungerford Building.  Admission for Ribbons & Riesling is free.  Refreshments will be provided.    Visitors on First Friday are encouraged to stroll the building and visit the dozens of artists and artisans who will open their studios to the public.

Each 1 Stitch 1 is a fabric & design studio offering studio space and sewing equipment available to patrons wishing to create their own garments.  They offer classes as well as private instruction as well as professional services like sample making and pattern grading.
