The upcoming elections would take on a new twist if the three-party system set by Keith M. Donaldson, in his just released Rude Awakenings, were a reality.
Political Thriller Rude Awakenings gives readers pause to consider the three party system possibilities while weaving a well-created and detailed story of political repair. Each character jumps from the pages vitally developed. While reading the story line of Mike Macdonald of the Centrist Party as he works towards financial and social renewal, readers will become immersed in the financial, military and intelligence strategies. Macdonald’s plans take a jolt when a foreign plot threatens the values of the US dollar. He also has to begin his first day as president facing the nuclear bombing of an American city.
Donaldson penned his book as a piece of fiction, but discloses that “many events and elements I’ve portrayed in my book have come true and I believe others will continue to become reality.”
Yes, this is the same Keith Donaldson who recently appeared in the Topsail Advertiser, June 27, 2012, for creating the July Summer Revue when he saw a gap in the Sneads Ferry Community Theatre’s annual calendar. Donaldson, a local author and playwright, is on the theatre’s Board of Directors. The Summer Revue is a mix of eight to 10 short performances.
