Downtown Restaurant & Art Lounge LITM Presents Annual Watermelon Menu

July 1, 2012 - PRLog -- LITM, nestled in the heart of Downtown Jersey City, has prepared its seasonal watermelon menu to celebrate summer.  July marks LITM’s Annual Watermelon Month, where handcrafted cocktails and fruit-infused culinary creations abound.

For a limited time, the dinner menu will add such creations as a Watermelon Cous Cous Salad featuring Cucumber, Apricots, Tomato, Tzatziki Sauce, a Grouper with Arugula-Watermelon Salad, a plate of Steamed Ricotta and Corn Ravioli with Grilled Watermelon, a healthy heap of Homemade BBQ Pork Ribs with Papaya Cole Slaw and Sliced Watermelon, and more.

The cocktail list will also get a boost with several new additions, including LITM's Famous Watermelonade, a blend of vodka with fresh watermelon puree and lemonade and Hell or High Watermelon Beer by 21st Amendment Brewery.  Watermelon Gimlets on the Rocks and Blueberry Watermelon Martinis will also be featured.

The event will also feature the bright and poppy watermelon paintings of LITM’s curator Andrea Artemis Morin.  Her work will be available for purchase through a month long silent auction.

This event will be limited to the month of July, so beat the heat and stop in and try one of LITM’s refreshing creations!
