In honor of this occasion, the company is giving a free "Welcome to LHC Package" trio of amenities to consumers who book a room through the new websites by July 31, 2012. The Library Hotel Collection will also make a $1 donation for every "Welcome to LHC Package" given away during this promotion at its hotels to The Center for Fiction's Books for NYC Schools/KidsRead program, which provides books to schools and students in low-income areas in NYC.
Consumers who make a booking at the Library Hotel, Hotel Giraffe, Hotel Elysée, or Casablanca Hotel by July 31, 2012 for a stay at any time in the future, will have the ability to select a complimentary "Welcome to LHC Package" that includes a box of Belgian chocolates, a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, and, in homage to the new company name, a book to take home. Guests will have the choice of four classic novels such as "The Complete Sherlock Homes Volume 1," "The Count of Monte Cristo," "Pride and Prejudice," and "This Side of Paradise." Consumers must select the "Free Welcome to LHC Package" on the "Welcome Amenities" page (which shows up after they have selected their dates of stay and room rate) in order to receive this free gift upon their arrival.
According to Adele Gutman, Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Revenue at Library Hotel Collection, the new websites have been designed to provide visitors with complete ease of booking. "The sites load so much faster, visitors will see incredibly large detailed images of each of the properties, and there are a variety of ways to navigate the site in order to learn about the amenities and services available at each hotel." Ms. Gutman adds that the company's research has shown that in most cases, consumers navigate to the photo gallery first, see what the hotel looks like, and then click right over to "book" to make a reservation.
