Two Years of Service is a Reason for Non-profit’s Celebration

June 6, 2012 - PRLog -- HOUSTON, TX- Wish Upon a Wedding started out as a small idea in Northern California that sparked in the hearts of many and now spans over 20 chapters national wide. With 3 Wedding Wishes granted, 2 Blissful Wishes Balls completed, 2 successful Tacky Wedding Pub Crawls, and plenty of memories, Wish Upon a Wedding Houston has the pleasure of being a Founding Chapter and proudly celebrates 2 years of service. On Thursday, June 28th, Wish Upon a Wedding Houston will host their Happy Birthday Happy Hour at Hotel Derek in the Valentino Vin Bar in honor of their 2nd birthday.

The celebration will take place from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Valentino Vin Bar will be providing complimentary valet and tapas along with Happy Hour cocktail pricing for the night. In honor of Wish Upon a Wedding Houston's birthday, guests will have a chance to purchase tickets to the Wish Upon a Brunch, taking place on August 5th at Hotel Derek, for a discounted price being offered only that evening. This celebration is free but space is limited so you must RSVP at www.wuwhoustonhbhh.eventbrite.com by Monday, June 25th.

The Houston Chapter was established in April of 2010 and has made amazing strides to carry out the mission of Wish Upon a Wedding since their official launch in June of 2010. They granted their first wedding wish in December 2010 right after their inaugural ball and are gearing up for their next two wishes taking place February 2012. Their hope is that chosen recipients can inspire other couples facing similar situations to find hope and strength.
