- June 21, 2012 - PISCATAWAY, N.J. --
The Green Beauty Queen and local Prom Queens are uniting to do a clothing drive and food drive for those less fortunate at Eden Organix in Highland Park. Eden Organix is a socially conscious business, as well as, an organic day spa in Highland Park, NJ. Our CEO & Founder, Valerie Mason-Robinson, thought it would be a great way to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. Valerie says, “The economy has been very tough on many businesses including Eden Organix, but we still look for ways to partner and give back.” Local Prom Queens from Piscataway, Somerset, Highland Park and South Brunswick will be coming together to encourage the community and to focus on all the positive things happening in our area. We are partnering with Elijah’s Promise "who's mission is to end hunger, and create jobs and food businesses". Elijah's Promise is a great organization based out of New Brunswick. We are also partnering with Making It Possible to End Homelessness to donate clothing items. During our Anniversary celebration on June 28th from 5-7:30PM we are asking patrons to donate canned foods, pastas, toiletries, packaged and clean underwear and socks to be donated to Elijah’s Promise & Making it Possible to End Homelessness.
One local Prom Queen, believes we have a obligation to encourage and build each other up. She says, "the world can be so mean, and this is a great opportunity to help others and I love what Eden Organix is doing in our local communities to help and give back.”
The first 15 participants to arrive to Eden Organix’s Celebration event will receive gift bags filled with organic spa products, chocolates, and a list of other community events Eden Organix will be participating in. Please join us on June 28th from 5-7:30pm to UNITE and give back!
