Episode 1 has already gathered nearly 20,000 YouTube views in its first 3 days.
Episode 1- "A Girls Gotta Cheer" made its online debut at 3pm PST Monday afternoon. The show boasts a talented cast of actors, many former cheerleaders, including Neva McIntosh, who plays the role of Emma Franklin in the new series.
Secret Diary of an American Cheerleader is the first original web series for the spirit industry. Say's CEO and executive producer of CCI Productions, Cindy Villarreal, "This show fulfils my goal to bring positive programming and entertainment to cheerleaders everywhere. 'Secret Diary' has been created as the first dramatic series specifically produced for cheerleaders guest starring Cheer Channel's 'Superstars of All-Stars' with some of cheerleading favorites, Maddie Gardner, Whitney Love, Kiara Nowlin, Kelsey Rule, Gabi Butler, Cami Branson, Erica Englebert and Bianca Treger. Other acting cheerleaders include Kyle Blitch, former Top Gun and California All Star cheerleader and Apple Graceffa. Also in the series are Jennifer Burke and Nolan Higgans, two current all star cheerleaders selected at open casting calls.
