Attorney Heather Fitzenhagen Appointed to Founding Board for Betty Allen Ovarian Cancer Foundation

May 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Fort Myers, Florida – Heather Fitzenhagen, an attorney, mediator and marketing director for Condo & HOA Law Group, PLLC, has been appointed as a member of the Founding Board of Directors for the Betty Allen Ovarian Cancer Foundation, a new non-profit organization formed to promote education, research, screenings and treatment for the disease. As a founding board member Fitzenhagen will play an integral role in  the development of the organization. In her position she will help to raise funds and awareness for the foundation.

The foundation was started by ovarian cancer survivor Betty Allen and serves Collier, Charlotte, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties. The board is currently planning an Ovarian Cancer Symposium in October. More information about the organization is available at www.ovariancancerfl.org.

“I am honored to be a founding member of this charitable organization,” said Fitzenhagen, who is also a Republican candidate for the District 78 seat in the Florida Legislature. “Ovarian cancer is a very serious health issue for women that deserves more attention, and it is our goal to bring education, resources and treatment to the forefront for women in our community.”
