BAJobs.com Announces Winners of the Second Annual Top Bay Area Employer Contest

Employees were enthusiastic to talk about what they loved most about their workplace, and in the end, five companies were selected for the award, along with two honorees. From supporting green initiatives to offering volunteering and health memberships, it is apparent that the nominated companies provide perks beyond basic benefits programs.

“It is great to see how highly employees speak of their companies, making it a tough competition,” notes Marketing Coordinator Corinne Dickey, “It was also interesting to see that higher level executives who completed the nomination form were more aware of their company’s benefits than their colleagues.” Callan recommends, “Companies should offer their employees’ ongoing education about the great perks they provide as it will help maintain employee engagement and retention.”
