Tarpy’s Roadhouse Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary With A Fun Filled Day of Festivities

Monterey, CA. Immerse yourself in the charm of Tarpy’s Roadhouse. Tarpy’s Roadhouse is celebrating its 20th Anniversary on Sunday, October 7th, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Enjoy sumptuous food, luscious wines, live music and more! Fire up your appetite- the outdoor patio will be devoted to samples of Chef Michael Kimmel’s latest creations! Start with the kicked-back and informative cooking demo by Chef Michael and stay for live music on the patio.  Step indoors and savor tastes from several food stations. Wander next door to Ventana Vineyards Tasting Room patio for  our decadent dessert bar and Ventana Wines.

Enter our raffle to benefit Peacock Acres and win a wheelbarrow of wine. The wheelbarrow will contain more than 24 bottles of award winning wine and one special magnum. Raffle tickets are $10 per ticket and will be sold the day of the event. Peacock Acres provides residential care and transitional support services for current and former foster youth in Monterey County.  They operate five unique programs to holistically meet the needs of local foster youth: Group Homes for boys ages 7-17; Transitional Housing Placement Program for foster youth ages 16 to 18; Transitional Housing Program Plus for former foster youth ages 18 to 24; Incarceration to Success for probationary young adults ages 16-21; and our new project, the Learning Center, which provides mentoring and tutoring services throughout the day for students K-12 in foster care.
