May 16, 2012 - PRLog -- San Francisco – Requirements management is the corner stone of any product delivery process and the most important task of product management. The quality of this process will dictate the quality of the entire release. The purpose of requirement management tools is to provide a repository and enable the management of gathering, evaluation, prioritization, dependency and traceability activities. Without such a tool, the entire process, which becomes manual, is very inefficient, disorganized and sometimes even creates more mess and damage than value. Such tools also serve the transparency needed to allow any stakeholder in the organization to observe and review the requirements. This way, the overall process will not become the "private and secret" world of the product management, but rather enable smooth communication and collaboration between product management across all functions to ensure the ultimate success of the product creation process in support of the business  strategy.

Leon Malalel, Strategic Product Management™ consultant and trainer, will speak at the weekly Global Product Management Talk on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the simultaneous times of 8:00-9:00 AM Pacific / 10:00-11:00 AM Houston,TEXAS TIME / 11:00-12:00 AM Boston Eastern Time, 4:00-5:00 PM London and 6:00-7:00 PM in Israel using the hashtag #ProdMgmtTalk on Twitter.

Leon says, "I’m happy to be speaking at The Global Product Management Talk about requirements management since it is a challenge product managers confront in every organization, where ever they are located. Knowing what to invest in, how to invest in it and implementing the process with superior results, is the result of a great product management process."
