TV property expert, Phil Spencer, announced the winners at a lavish awards ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane, London, which was attended by 550 of the UK’s leading estate and letting agents. Phil Spencer said: “The ESTAS are the most important and valuable awards in our industry. An ESTA is not an easy accolade to achieve. To win one requires a lot of hard work over a very long period of time.”
The ESTAS are unique because customers judge their estate and letting agents’ performance through the home buying, selling and letting process. Customers are asked to complete a questionnaire rating their agent’s performance on key service criteria and return this directly to the organisers where the results are collated and processed. Each finalist receives a detailed analysis showing how they scored against other agents and compared to the national average.
According to these statistics only 58% of homeowners throughout the country are happy with the advice they are given by their agents compared to 89% of Michael Jones’s clients. Michael Jones was also rated well above the national average with the highest score in the South East (South) for trustworthiness and their management of the viewing, buying, selling and letting process.
This is the first time Michael Jones has entered the ESTAS, but it is the eighth time over the past seven years that the independently owned estate agent has received awards for its customer service.
