F.V.O. Receives $10,000 Gold Award From Pasadena Independent Schools Foundation

Foothill Vocational Opportunities Inc. has been chosen as a recipient of a Gold Award Grant from the Pasadena Independent Schools Foundation.

May 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Pasadena, CA, – Foothill Vocational Opportunities Inc. has been chosen as a recipient of a Gold Award Grant from the Pasadena Independent Schools Foundation. The $10,000 award will be used to enhance and strengthen the services Foothill provides to young adults on the Autism spectrum.

In February, twenty-five students from the Pasadena Independent Schools Foundation visited Foothill Vocational Opportunities Inc. to learn how Foothill fulfills its mission to maximize the personal and economic potential of individuals with barriers to employment through meaningful employment opportunities. Students, PISF Board Director Dan Greenwood, and accompanying parents were given a tour by Foothill clients and attended a special presentation hosted by Foothill Board President Gretchen Reed.
