Follow on Google News | Silent Auction at Princeton Montessori School April 21Imagine the possiblities! Princeton Montessori School will hold its annual gala auction night on Saturday April 21. This year's theme is "Imagine..." and the evening promises to ignite the imagination of those parents and friends who attend.
By: Kathryn Marmion Imagine... transforming the life of a child! New this year - bidders will have the opportunity to give a child the gift of attending the school's SummerQuest summer program. The school is already at work to seek out a good match between the summer program and a child from one of the local communities. Auction guests will have the opportunity to bid in increasing amounts as a direct donation to make this happen. Other auction items include a signed Bruce Springsteen guitar, a private, guided viewing of the Gutenberg bible in Princeton's Firestone Library, a "luminary lunch" with Greg Olsen, the third private citizen to rocket into outer space, and vacations to Costa Rica, Orlando, San Francisco, Washington DC, Boston, and New York, to name but a few. For those looking for exciting adventures, there is a race car experience and a sky diving opportunity just waiting for the highest bidder. One lucky guest will walk away with 50% of the proceeds of the $25 a ticket 50/50 raffle drawing to take place during the evening. And one lucky family will leave with a handmade quilt, made by students ages 4-6 who are in the After School program. No one will go home hungry. There are food and restaurant auction items to suit every taste and budget, and Gennaro's of Princeton will cater a sit-down dinner the night of the Auction. Profits from the evening will fulfill some of the "Wants-n-Wishes" To purchase tickets, RSVP to www.princetonmontessori.org and click on "Imagine...Auction 2012" # # # The Princeton Montessori School serves children from infancy through eighth grade.
