New Series "Bibi The Princess Witch" Soars Into Production

April 4, 2012 - PRLog -- DSL & AP Newswire Services reports Production has begun for a New Comedy Series, "Bibi The Princess Witch."  Filming for the Episodic Comedy Series Pilot began in March, with most of the Pilot finished with filming on April 1, 2012.  The Pilot was shot On Location in Valley Glen, CA.

Newswire Services contacted the Series' Creator and Star Edie J. Adler, to comment on the Comedy Series.  "Well, I have had this Brain-Child for forever it seems.  I finally just said I'm gonna do it.  Once we got our SAG New Media Agreement in place, we started Casting.  We have alot of great talent in our Cast and Crew.  We did have some of the usual Production snags, as well we had to re-cast some Actors due to scheduling conflicts.  Once we ironed all that out, we started shooting for the Pilot.  I'm really excited about the whole Project.  The Show has already been picked up for New Media Markets, as a Web Series, but even before we started shooting the Pilot, there was talk about possible development for other Markets in Television and Cable.  With the new SAG/AFTRA merger, we might expand distribution of the Series.  New Web Media is predicted to explode; and The Industry feels that was a deciding factor in the SAG/AFTRA Merger.  Either way, Cast & Crew for 'Bibi'  are very excited about this project."

Newswire contacted Remy Armistad, publicist for Diesmond Lee, one of the stars of the Comedy Vehicle.  "Diesmond is looking forward to the success of this new series he is cast in.  He almost had to reluctantly decline his role in the show, due to scheduling conflicts with other projects he's cast in.  We encouraged him to stay and he's excited to be part of this Comedy Series; which has a lot of talent in both Cast & Crew.  This role is also a very far departure from what Diesmond is usually cast in, and he likes that aspect as well.  He is usually cast in more serious and darker roles.  The Project was generating Buzz for distribution even before filming of the Pilot began, and that's always a good sign."
